Why I Started LO&PS Agency: From Overlooked Talent to Business Support Visionary

This Didn’t Start as a Burnout Story.

It started as a frustration story.

I was tired of applying to jobs I was overqualified for. Jobs that never gave me the chance to actually use the skills I worked so hard to develop. I kept thinking, “I know I have what it takes… so why can’t I find something that lets me prove it?”

I’ve always been grateful for the jobs I’ve had. They kept me afloat and taught me a lot. But still… I crave more. My mind wants to build. I want to contribute in a bigger way. And when I couldn’t find an opportunity that aligned with my strengths and ambition, I decided to create one.

That’s how LO&PS Agency was born.

Before LO&PS, There Was Hustle.

I graduated from UTRGV in 2022 with a degree in Business Marketing while working full-time as an administrative accountant at a forklift company. I’d take classes after work and during my lunch break, and on weekends I ran my own online fashion boutique. I packed orders late at night, shipped them before clocking in the next morning, and hustled nonstop just to keep up.

Eventually, the company I worked for gave me an ultimatum: quit your business and change your major to accounting, or leave. So I left.

Six months later, degree in hand, I started searching for marketing jobs in the Rio Grande Valley. And I was shocked. The only opportunities I found were sales positions paying $9–$12/hr. Jobs labeled “marketing” that involved answering phones and taking payments at an insurance office. No real marketing. No creativity. No future.

So, I started applying online at Google Jobs, Indeed, everywhere. But even then, it was like screaming into the void. I’d get rejection emails seconds after applying. My résumé wasn’t even being read by a real person. It felt hopeless.

But Giving Up Wasn’t an Option.

I’ve always loved business- the structure, the strategy, the creativity, the transformation. Whether it was helping women light up in a new outfit or helping hoarders’ clear space in their homes, I’ve always been passionate about helping people get organized, take control, and level up. I love creating structure, finding solutions, and giving people back the time and space to breathe.

So one day I just thought: Why is it this hard to get a cute little office job when I have the skills to do so much more?

And that was it.

I decided to bet on myself.

From Idea to Agency

At first, I imagined LO&PS as a solo operation. Just me, offering services I knew I was good at: admin work, organization, business planning, branding, marketing, bookkeeping, HR tasks. But then I thought, If I’m feeling this way… how many others are too?

So I dreamed bigger.

I decided to build a team. A full agency of skilled professionals who shared my values, my vision, and my desire to do meaningful work on their own terms. I wanted to create opportunities for people like me. People who are ambitious, qualified, underutilized. All while also supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners who are stretched thin and need a hand.

That’s when LO&PS evolved from a freelance hustle into a full-blown agency.

Why “LO&PS”?

The name stands for what we do best:

Life Organizing & Planning Services.

We help bring structure to chaos. We help people organize their lives, execute their goals, and build something better- personally or professionally. I wanted the name to sound sharp, polished, and professional… because that’s what we are.

Our Mission Is Simple.

We help entrepreneurs breathe.

Whether you’re just starting out and don’t know where to begin. Or, you are years in and juggling too much. We step in to take the weight off. We’re not just here to perform tasks; we’re here to build systems, free up your time, and make your business feel manageable again.

Because when your business is growing, you shouldn’t have to do everything yourself. You should be able to say, “I’m tired of bookkeeping,” and have someone step in to handle it. Or, “Marketing is draining me,” and let it go. That’s what LO&PS is here for.

And on the flip side, I’m proud to say our team members are free- free to work remotely, set their schedules, and thrive without micromanagement. They’re not just workers, they’re partners. And they believe in this mission just as much as I do.

I’m So Proud of This Team.

Within one week of posting my job listing, over 700 people applied. I read through every submission, looking not just for skills, but for soul. I wanted to build a team that aligned with everything LO&PS stands for:

We’re launching with a dream team of 10, and I know in my heart this is just the beginning.

LO&PS Is More Than a Service.

It’s support.

And it’s a lifeline for those trying to grow something real without losing themselves in the process.
